I have to show you this nifty interactive Presidential Poll Tracker at USAToday. You can choose Democrats or Republicans, which candidates to show, and then a state. Very nice look at the trends, and a great tool for election fanatics. I do hope some of the big states get updates polls soon, though.

I spent half the day in the jury pool, though I got challenged out of the final duty. I do not know why; I don’t think the lawyers could see the Krugman book in my bookbag.
Maybe it was carrying a bookbag that did it…
Anyway, I know everyone hates going in for jury duty, but I think it’s a pretty lovely institution, and one of the foundations of this country. I enjoyed being in a room with a large number of random people from my community. Though I’m just as happy to not spend the next week working there.
