The death of Roe is not the end, either

Fierce Planet Posted on June 24, 2022 by jnfrJune 24, 2022

Clarence Thomas writes, in a concurring opinion, that the Supreme Court should reconsider Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell — the rulings that now protect contraception, same-sex relationships, and same-sex marriage. — Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) June 24, 2022

“Roe and Casey are overruled.”

Fierce Planet Posted on June 24, 2022 by jnfrJune 26, 2022

Resources: National Network of Abortion Funds – help women who live in states where abortion is prohibited. NNAF is hosting an ActBlue account which shares donations with multiple abortion funds around the country. Planned Parenthood. I’ve had a small monthly donation to them going back years. I have created a document with information about abortion funds specific to each state: https://t.co/isAbSST2ARI encourage y'all to share this information and follow/donate to the organizations I have cited, whether or not you copy this language into tweets. — abortion donation link fairy ✨️ (@helmsinki) September 8, 2021 How to Make Abortion Pills More … Continue reading →

Remarks by BTS

Fierce Planet Posted on May 31, 2022 by jnfrDecember 1, 2022

They spoke to the issues of Anti-Asian violence and the need for respect and inclusion. Translation by @modooborahae. I love how they center issues of equality and diversity and respect for all individuals. Plus, of course, a shout-out to ARMY. They always remember that. ETA: All the fan translators are heroes.

Just say Takei!

Fierce Planet Posted on February 9, 2022 by jnfrFebruary 9, 2022

Down in Florida, Gov. Desantis is pushing a “Don’t Say Gay” bill, which attempts to force LGBTQ students back into the closet again. Doing this will harm gay students in the state, as closets always do. But gay icon George Takei has a recommendation on how to fight back against states who try to repress gay people.
