I’m pleased with Obama’s choice of Joe Biden as his running mate. I think Biden will be both tough and thoughtful. I look forward to the debates.

I’m also very happy with Hillary Clinton’s statement on the choice, too.

Hillary Clinton made the following statement today after receiving news that Senator Obama had chosen Senator Biden as his Vice Presidential nominee:

Senator Biden will be a purposeful and dynamic Vice President who will help Senator Obama both win the Presidency and govern this great country.”
